The F250

So, you made it here then eh? By now, you allready know that the 300 suffered a painfull, oilless death, and that I replaced the 82 with an 86 F250, ah, but, not just any F250... No, this one had to be a project truck also...

I found this beauty with a re-built 460 for $300(yes, I did say F250 HD 4x4 with a re-built 460 for $300)

Ok, so it was a little rough....

Well, write off it more like it...

That fender was the straightest panel on the truck.

Still, for the price, it wasn't bad, but, I had a slight problem. My cab wouldn't fit, and, I didn't want an ex. cab long box, so, what'd I do?

I removed the offending 22"...

Yanked the cab off of the 82, and, ended up with this:

We now have one regular cab, long box 460 powered F250 HD 4x4... Now, is it an 82 or an 86... LOL

Add some new Whitespokes and 265/75R16 Hankook FR04's, and we have this:

Backing the 460 is a T-19 fully syncro granny low four speed with a BW-1345 tied to it's tail, and a 3.54 geared Dana 50 TTB leading the way with a 3.55 geared Sterling 10.25 bringing up the rear.

Total build time from rollover to driver: 28 Hours
Time until it's actually done: It'll never be done

Update, one year, and 25,000 miles later:

More pics and info on the way when I get a roundtuit...
